Starling Silhouette

This piece is acrylic on canvas. My idea for the starling silhouette was to show contrast and add visual texture that starkly highlighted the silhouette form of a generally modest, less thought about bird. I also added contrast to the branch that the bird was landing on and framed using two right-angle cross hatches.
